No. If it was, it would be on the news. Nintendo's little strap problem was a big thing, and it was over the news. And so were the first X360s back in 2005. Check the site just to be safe though.

no, not a recall, but like any other product things go wrong, but it is EXTREMELY rare though, I have a PS3, play it all the time, and nothing bad has ever happened, it is awesome

Some ps3 are thats why I bought the Wii and man its a great system.
I think that the Ps3 that are being recalled are due to system freezing.

some, they rushed them into production and some of the parts are not of the best quality they will replace it.
