What do I write on a birthday card to a friend that I have known for a long time that has always been there for me?

You are a special person in my life and deserve a wonderful birthday!!! Thank you for always being there and caring whenever I need a friend with a shoulder to lean on, an open ear to listen, a hand to wipe my tears in both joy and sorrow, a compassionate heart without being judgmental, and a strong arm to pick me up and point me in the right direction again.
I'm glad we're friends.

Whenever I write cards or letters to friends I think of all the things we've done together and what has made our friendship so enjoyable.
Just start writing, the right words usually find a way of coming out.
And of course include "Happy Birthday."

I hope you have an amazing birthday. After all the things we've gone through together, you deserve to have some fun. You're the kind of friend I hope to have for the rest of my life.
You get the idea. It's pretty generic -- I'd suggest adding some examples of things you've been through that you appreciate, etc.

Try reminding her of all the great things shes done for you well not alll but some . and let her know how appreaciated she is to you and how much help shes given you ! .. its her birthday and make her feel as special as she should be ! .. remind her that your always gunna be there for her as much as shes been here for you !.. shes your best friend and nothen can ever change it ! =) .. it will put a big smile on her face knowing that your greatful of her !
