You can take it any time. I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I don't think you can still take it...how about getting your AA from a community college and then transferring to a university? I got a 1370 on the SAT, but that's what I'm doing, cause it's cheaper.
