i use battery operated tools exclusively. when one of my batteries goes bad, i go to batteries plus. they put new guts in the battery at half the price of buying a new one.

You need to buy a new battery. After a while, they will not hold the charge anymore, just like any other kind of battery. Go directly to Sears if that is the brand you have so they can match the battery to your drill.

tend to batteries all time like Sears and you are
sure to get quality service..!

Is it a Craftsman brand from Sears? If so, you can take your drill up and get it replaced at the customer service desk in the tool section.
