Some people said that nylon/lycra briefs don't allow the 'boys' to breathe and they don't absorb sweat, is that true? If true, will they harm us? And, some people said that it is uncomfortable to wear nylon/lycra briefs, is that true?

nylon doesn't breath, it plastic. Will it harm you NO. They can make you sweat more, and maybe each because of the sweat.
I would suggest buying a assortment of briefs or boxer briefs, jocks, etc, find the one that makes you feel comfortable and good

Nylon and lycra usually don't breather very well and so you tend to sweat in these briefs more. Also some guys don't like the extra support that these offer, while others prefer it. Regardless of what the material is made out of, the real issue in finding good briefs is the cut. You need to find some that have a defined pouch so your boys are well supported and not just squished up against your body. With a well shaped pouch things stay in place while without the pouch things tend to wander down and need adjustments. Try some of the underwear sites out there and take a look around, try some out and see what you like. I'd start at skivvies.com or abcunderwear.com and undergear.com And don't know the jocks until you try them. Most guys think they're gay, but only real men can be man enough to wear real underwear. If you want to know the answer you have try them and see, everyone is so different. If they sell these briefs then some people must find them comfortable, if you're curious about them buy a pair and try them.
