All those who said that the repetitive use of the word 'like' makes it lose its meaning, are absolutely right. Like 'like', another word that is used indiscriminately at the beginning, middle or end of a sentence is 'OK'. There are some other words of this type which are used often, when one is at a loss for proper words. This is a clear indication of a poor level of vocabulary, or confused thinking.

For me is like I don't used it that much, because like sometimes is like using all the words like any other word like talking to your friends like playing.....

The used of like means that your vocabulary is not rich enough. Stop before you use the "L" word and try to used another word instead. Good luck

you use it (like) mainly in conversation, it started from your parents or friends or any elders who are not fluent and well-versed in proper English grammar sentences when you are young, children pick up the habits from the elders, as times goes by, it becomes your legacy (a bad habit).
In school, you did not learn English Grammar subject (if you had, you 've failed the subject, in fact, you hate this subject).
Overall, it shows you have not been taught to apply proper English grammar in your conversation and composition writings.

You can train yourself not to say it. It is a totally unnecessary word and makes you sound stupid.
