I have purchased real estate on eBay and often find it to be a great place for finding motivated sellers. No problems yet.

As in any real estate transaction, you should perform your due diligence to keep you from being ripped off. Whether you find the property on eBay, Realtor.com etc. etc.

I think it's a bad idea...you must examine the property personally. Fifty yrs ago people bough property in Florida through Magazines and sale pitches without even seen it...only to later find out the bought marshland... Oh, boy the pictures they show you are very impressive... Be extremely careful....

dont know anyone who has done that and really dont see why someone ever would?
I dont see why or how someone woudl trust a 30 year commitment to a few pictures
