I'm a HUGE U2 fan! Best band in the world. Nobody even begins to come close!

My favorite song of all time is "One." It is the most powerful, beautiful song I have ever heard. All four times I saw them perform it live I just started bawling. It's difficult to put into words what it means to me, but it has saved me so many times, just as it saved the band.

In the early recording sessions for Achtung Baby, the band played in Berlin during the time that the Wall came down. They had taken a break after Rattle & Hum and they all came to the table with new musical interests. Nobody could agree on what direction they should go in, but then Edge came up with the chords for "One" and it all just came together.

Love IS a temple!

Really hard question!!! I could name you sooo many great songs! I am such a HUGE fan and love every song, but to answer your question, Where the Streets Have No Name or One. Too hard to choose! Where the Streets Have No Name is really, really touching and almost haunting. The first notes just ring in your mind ( or at least mine) for days. I saw them live in 2005 and this is truly the BEST song live. One is .... I am trying to type this, and can't find the words. Really. This song I guess cannot be discribed in words. It speaks to everyone in such a different way. Can fit into any life, at any moment. Even though Bono said it was about breaking up and being apart, it seems to give hope and something that people were looking for. ( Not to use a pun for I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for) Anyways, both of these songs have practically changed my life. ALL of U2's music is amazing though!!! ;)

This is a really hard question for me. I honestly don't know if I can answer it. I absolutely love the early days War, Boy, October and Unforgettable Fire. All of these songs had great political messages. One, they once said, is their song that is most played at wedding of U2 fans and they're not sure why since it's about endings. It's up there as a favorite. Okay-I'm going to answer this question (I swear). My favorite of the political protest songs would be Bullet The Blue Sky and my favorite of the love songs would be All I Want is You.

I'm getting married on 10/11/08 and All I Want is You is going to be our first dance as man and wife!

I like their earlier stuff.. For me, it's Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year's Day because those were the two songs that I first heard. They sang political messages at a time when it wasn't that popular. Sunday Bloody Sunday just has great powerful lyrics and Bono's voice shakes with intensity of feeling about the pointlessness of violence.

War and The Joshua Tree were overall my favorite albums and just about all those songs are great.

"I Still haven't Found What I'm Looking For"---still as powerful as when I first heard it in 1990.

To go back further, "Two Hearts Beat as One" (US remix-longer bass solo) is a favorite U2 tune since 1983.
