What about the original jedi law and others...?

Question

the original jedi in the prequel to the star wars saga came up with a law. one of them was that jedi cannot get married. i have a few questions here...

1) if jedi don't get married, where does the jedi council find new jedi to train?

2) why did luke change the law after he started his own jedi academy? why did he allow marriages, knowing that it would affect the conduct of the jedi?

3) how could leia become a jedi even though she was already so old? (in episode I, the jedi almost refused to train 10-year-old anakin in the ways of a jedi, because he was supposedly "too old")

4) is it automatic that jedi would give birth to children strong in the force? if so, it doesn't take two jedi to give birth to a child strong in the force, right? (in the case of han and leia)

5) boba fett had a daughter who was eventually killed by jacen solo. who was boba's wife?

1-If a Jedi got married (and they did) they were usually asked to leave the order since it was believed that their marital duties would conflict with their Jedi duties.

2- Luke didn't 'change' the laws; we know all that stuff, but he had very little information or guidance to go on-much of it was destroyed or twisted by the Emperor.

3- Leia had the capacity to become a Jedi, but was too busy being President of the New Republic and rarely used the Force except in dire need. (afraid of becoming like dear ol' Dad, some say)

4- No. It didn't work that way. Individuals with Jedi potential were sometimes born to non-Jedi parents and vice-versa. Some suggest that it is the Force itself that chooses the individual.

5- News to me; I guess I need to catch up on my reading.
