Okay so I saw this movie tonight and it was really good but i am still confused. I don't understand the parts where she is committed to a mental hospital and when her mom questions her about her daughters face, Im so confused. I had it all figured out it my head, it was like right at the edge of my brain, i knew it for a second, and then it slipped away, if that makes any sense. Please help me figure it out!

I only saw half of the movie, because I got motion sickness. Call me a total baby.
But in the movie, the days were all mixed up. Linda didn't know why her daughter had the cuts on her face because it hadn't happened to her yet. She is sent to a mental hospital because her friends and her mom were worried that she was going crazy and hurting her daughter.
