I have a guys friend at school, and he doesn't really know how to dance. I was wondering how he could do it without looking like a complete fool....Help?

It all depends on the style of dancing. Either way, it's best for the person to observe, notice patterns in the style and then create a set of moves of his own.

If you're asking on a more philosophical aspect, then any way he feels is right. Dancing is subjective. It should belong to the individual.

Tell him to go to a dance with some friends, sit at tables, and watch others dance. He'll learn how and have fun in the process.

That's not easy to answer. It all depends on the type of music that's being played. Knowing the kind of music, you might check your school or public library for some instuctional dance videos appropriate to the type of music being played. It all has to do with moving smoothly to the rhythm of the music.

If he is comfortable with his lack of dancing abilities... then leave him alone. If he honestly does want to learn to dance, then you need to get him some experience. Borrow a dancing book from a library or something and teach him yourself.

tell him to move and sway around, just back and forth the way he feels comfortable moving to the music, he's a guy its better if he tires his best, he doesnt have to be a pro

give him personal dancing lessons with you and let him learn from you, Its an idea
