Why is it that women get stuck with cleaning the house and doing the dishes and the laundry and dealing with the kids and after all that... things get all messed up again and then WE HAVE TO REDO EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN!!!! I know that guys have to go to work and "make the money" but come on now... not ALL guys have the best of jobs.
BASICALLY............. IMAGINE HOW IT WOULD BE IF WOMEN DID THE THINGS GUYS SHOULD DO AND MEN DID THE THINGS WOMEN SHOULD DO!!!???
Women probably would be good at doing both men and women jobs cause were just sooo good like that! ;-)
Give me your HONEST opinion on this, thank you!

Sorry I didnt mean to put "what men/women should do" I meant to put what men/women do<<
Bumbles I like your answer so far, so sweet and sounds so honest and kind.
Now I believe in men and women being equal too, but seriously SOME not most or not all... are lazy! They just assume its a womans job to do all the things I mentioned.
I do not have kids of my own nor am I married. I am 20 years old and living with my parents and 4 younger brothers. My mom works in the morning while dad sleeps then dad works afternoon while mom grocery shops and run errands and that kinda stuff you know?
I get stuff with all the dirty work. I am not complaining but I was just curious if anyone expiremented with it, like switching places with there man/hubby?

No one says you cant work and a woman should tend to her mans every need and do what shes gotta do. But theres nothing wrong with a man taking a step to go through what a woman does at home. I honestly think it takes a pretty good man to go through what a woman does at home. Cooking, Cleaning, Taking care of kids. Its a big job I would know!
OH BY THE THATS IT, WHAT HILWA WANTS SHE GETS SO SHE BETTER GET THE ANSWER SHES LOOKING FOR!
Hmm I think you have a stalker that Zell guy is a little scary. And that other guy I think he wants you! ;-)
Good Luck!

I don't like the way you say 'the things we're supposed to do' referring to the housework and such. Some husbands stay home and the wife is the bread winner.
Basically it's like this -- if you make the choice to be a housewife you take on the responsibility of taking care of the house while your husband goes out and works for the money to pay the bills. When he is home the responsibility of the kids should be shared as raising your children isn't part of housework or laundry and is something to be shared between the husband and wife always for the good of the kiddos. I stay at home and don't feel bad that I have to redo everything everyday, it's just what has to be done, it's my job choice as of now. When my husband goes to work he does the same thing everyday too so.....it evens out. You make the choice, go to work or stay at home. Now, if both people work then the household things should be shared equally. Just my honest opinion.
And on the weekends my husband does all the outside stuff, landscaping, washing cars, and fixes anything around the house that I ask him too!

Well, last time I checked women had rights too and some do work and have careers. Cleaning a house is with BOTH sexes. If your a single man then you gotta clean your place just like a single woman. As for being married, I work just like my hubby and we share the house chores.

There are plenty of successful jobs in which women are employed. Some women prefer working while others prefer staying at home. Men do work around the house too not just women.

Depends from guy to guy.
I have lived with several, in situations where I made more or less, and they ranged from 'Herbert Homemaker' to a decorative couch ornament.
I think that sex has less to do with it then personal responsibility.
Every one needs to pitch in to get money coming in and to get the chores and housework done.
No one really has a right to be exempted from making money or doing the dishes based on genitalia.
But with each person, their abilities may be more suited to a task set.
I am suited to working my job, my man is suited to making awesome culinary advancements. We share the rest.

It isnt like that in our house. My wife has a great job and makes the same as me, 50K a year. We both split the house chores, as in dishes and vacuuming. Plus im the one who does the laundry %90 of the time. We are parnters in marriage and life. :)
