iTunes playlists names?

Question

I want to make playlists to help organize my songs on iTunes, but I don't know what to call them. What do you guys call yours? Are they genres of music, song types, so on...just looking for some ideas =]

I have some that I've named according to genre, but I give the genres my own names. I usually make playlists to make CDs though, not to categorize, and for those I try to think up names that would be good titles for them if they were real CDs.

It just depends on what I'm putting in my playlist. Sometimes I'll put just a certain comedian (for comedy tracks) and name it that, such as "Bill Engvall". I have one that's called "All Music", that I had to use, because for some reason iTunes doesn't separate your music and podcasts. I have eight separate parameters defining that particular Smart Playlist.

One of these days I plan to get around to organizing them by moods, because it really sucks to be listening to something like Evanescence, and suddenly you're listening to the A-Teens. Really weird switch, there.

Just name it by whatever helps you remember what's in there, honestly. You're building it for yourself, not anybody else (unless you're sharing it :P) so that's really all that matters! :)

I have an all J-Pop/J-Rock playlist, and that's what I called it. Some of my artists that have a lot of music on my iPod have a playlist and it goes by their name, like Nirvana & Led Zeppelin. You could give them nicknames too. It all depends on what's easiest for you.

You can call them anything that suits what you are listening to such as if you are sleepy and listen to music that is calm or suit it wile sleeping you can call it SLEEPY or loud music LOUD MUSIC or metal DEAFENING or rap RYTHEM TO SHIZUM

Call It Whatever You Want It To. Naming It Will Help Diffrenciate If You Want To Hear What Music And When Without Looking For it

I continuously categories my songs into various areas.....rock, jazz, ect....... the biggest one I continuously call it with only by employing employing the call song....or much extra appropriate you may positioned your guy or woman call working example - monica song -......... it somewhat is all i'm able to declare....
