I myself don't have that problem...I just take forever to tan...lol

Sometimes the skin reacts to such intense UV rays. One of my friends is this way, the lady at the salon told her to go slowly and build a good base first.

Seriously, like 2 or 3 minutes per session for a week every other day and then increase the next week by 2 or 3 minutes etc etc

Nice generalization, there. I don't have "streaks or Red blotchy SKin" when I tan.

because naturally you are not supposed to be tan. when you alter your color it damages your skin. stay out of the sun and out of the tanning bed, use sunscreen and be happy with your body. dont damage it to follow a fad. if you are fair skinned you dont have much protection from the sun and you could get cancer from overexposure. you are beautiful no matter what color you are.

There isn't ALWAYS anything. It is SOME white women who have this problem. And it is due to heredity.

maybe because people aren't supposed to get tans.....how could that possibly be healthy for your skin?
