An IQ of 124 is not bad, but you have to be careful with internet IQ tests, as most of them are unreliable. My friend found one that was saying all of our IQs were in the 180s. Not likely. Although I have to admit, I don't have a problem with any test that says I'm smart.

Online tests are NOT standardized and are invalid. The questions they use might be similar to the ones used by real IQ tests, but to make an IQ test valid you have to have tests a large number of people who represent the population. Then these test have to line up with a bell curve and have reproducible results. IQ tests do not.

If you took a real test (with a standard deviation of 15) then your IQ would be superior.

the average iq is actually 100, it is based on the bell curve and 100 is the highest point on the curve. 110 is one standard deviation above average and that is about the intellect of an individual with a bachelor's degree....and 130 is about the intellect of someone holding a phd...so 124 is pretty good

no most people are in the 115-130 range einstine, newton were a little above 130 (i believe) when my brother went to highschool they tested him too just for the things he did(nothing bad) and they wouldnt tell himi the score the told his mom and they knew they said if it was bad they would have contacted someone/thing to help him so if 124 was bad they would have told you so.

I would say it would depend on how you use what you have. I have known some Mensa member's who were absolute nit-wits.

Mine is 121 and I consider myself highly average. My husband's is slightly lower, and yet I consider him much more intelligent than I.

I also have a sibling whose I.Q. is several points lower than mine, but she is considered the "smart" one in the family.

Assuming this is an accredited test, you are in the "Superior" ranking. This means you are above average when it comes to brains.
