I would prefer to be ripped apart by zombies, because I would probably go into shock once they pulled off one limb. The Blob would absorb me in its slow, creepy way, and I am afraid I would suffer a slow, acidic death.
(But that's just my rationalization to the unrational question. :) )

I've always had an aversion to the possibility of being eaten, so since Zombies often cannabalize I would prefer the Blob. At least I've never seen evidence that it has teeth. No teeth seems less traumatic somehow.

the lesser i think would be being absorbed by the blob because getting ripped by zombies and having to just lay there with no arms and legs just seems more painful

I would say the blob. Being ripped a part might be slow and painful while the blob would make you suffocate you and that's not as painful.

Zombies, definitely. The Blob would take way too much time. You would have to sit there and think about what was being done to you.

Actually, being absorbed sounds gentler than being ripped apart, so I will go with the blob.

yeah ripped apart by zombies cuz that would kill me. absorbed by the blob i'd either have to suffocate or drown. a horrible way to die.

Actually you would die faster by The Blob and less painfully. I would compare it to drowning. Being torn apart would be a horrid death.
