domain is "Main URL". www.mysite.com is your domain, but you also have other pages on the site, with different URL's. Ex. www.mysite.com/myfirstwebpage.html

A URL is, as someone mentioned, a Universal Resource Locator. A domain is just part of a URL but a required part.
The following are examples of URLs:
http://www.mydomain.com
http://www.mydomain.com/something
http://subdomain.mydomain.com
http://subdomain.mydomain.com/something
http://www.mydomain.com/something.asp?whatever=something
They all point to a "resource" which usually ends up being a Web page but could also be a file, a picture, an MP3...pretty much anything.
Using the above examples, the following are the domains used in the URLs:
www.mydomain.com
subdomain.mydomain.com
A domain is a friendlier way to represent a location. Sort of like if you have an apartment building at 100 Main Street (the address) but it's called "The Seacrest". If it's a well-known place, people might refer to it as the Seacrest because everyone knows it that way (and it's easier to remember) instead of 100 Main Street, Someplace, CA.
A domain can actually represent a number of addresses but that's another answer for another question. :)

The term domain can refer either to a local subnetwork or to descriptors for sites on the Internet. Basically, it is the name of your network. Example, Yahoo.com
URL is an acronym for Uniform Resource Locator and is a reference (an address) to a resource on a named network or the Internet. Example, http://Answers.Yahoo.com is using the resource Answers at domain Yahoo.com

a domain is the "basename" of ALL machines for the company/organization whereas a URL may be just one of those items.
For example, your domain might be: ElmerFudd.com
Within that, you could have any number of URLs, for example:
www.ElmerFudd.com
www3.ElmerFudd.com
ftp.ElmerFudd.com
sitex.internal.ElmerFudd.com
and so on.
