Well if there is no man at the table, I would say that you are going to say the blessing, and to me it should not matter who says it, as long as your meal is blessed

I hope your use of the word "allowed" is just a poor choice in words, and not a latent sexist remark........ but to answer the question, I think they should take turns, that way the children learn that both parents have the same religious ideals.

I believe that either one can say grace. They can take turns. Did you know that the Prophetess Debra (in the Bible) led the Isrealites at one time?
