Anyone else tired of movies like 300 where...?

entire histories are rewritten to make all non-whites almost sub-human with no honor or redeeming qualities.

Why do whites have to be so insecure that they cannot acknowldge the greatness of other cultures and the honorable history of groups like the Persians, Native Americans, Indians, Asians and Arabs.

300 men beating thousands...give me a break!!!

I did not see 300 but Yes I am tired of these movies.

Look at "The New World" and "Apacolypto". They are disgusting depictions of American history. They are not culturally accurate in any way. They are demeaning to people of color. And look at more modern movies like Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Their depictions of cultural people where disgusting!

I am a Native woman. I can't watch these movies. Why do we not put as much effort into displaying cultural accuracy and spreading education as we do spreading ignorance and hate?

That is an interesting perception. One that doesn't always get addressed.
Ghenghis (sp?) khan was a hero in another country too. He admitted being used by God to punish the nations of the world. They conquered the Russians, Arabs, Europeans and came close to the gates of Rome. They could have been completely annihilated if he wanted to.
