You have to pay child support/maintenance until the child reaches legal age of maturity. In the US it's 18 unless the court says otherwise. Just because you are getting re-married doesn't mean you can stop taking care of your children.

Ian of course you do,just because you remarry doesn't mean you lose the responsibility of your last mess.
What your question should be is, why would I get married in the first place since I don't give a jot for my kid from my last Marriage

In the UK they usually take into consideration what the father is able to pay verses what the child needs.
If your child goes to Uni then you are liable to pay until they finish, in my case until 22 years of age. If your child studies further for a Masters degree, you may be eligible for that too.

If you remarry, you continue to pay child support until the child is of-age.
If you remarry, you continue to pay spousal support/maintenance to your former spouse, if was ordered, until she remarries.
If you don't remarry, the above still applies. Your remarriage is not taken into consideration.

Yes. If your ex remarries and you were paying alimony then that would stop. But if your ex has custody of your kids then you pay child support until they turn 18.

If you remarry the mother of your child, no. If you remarry someone else, uh, yes. Why would it stop if you marry someone else. You still have the responsibility of that child regardless.

Yes. Your marital status makes no difference regarding whether your child still need supporting--he/she does so you have to continue to provide for him/her. Even if the child's current guardian gets married, the child remains your responsiblity not the guardian's or the guardian's spouse. Your child remains your responsibility no matter what else goes on in your life or anyone else's.

YES ! thats the quick answere, you can marry a hundred times but you will still have children and they still need to be maintained as long as they are in full time education, stop being a dead beat and face up to your responsibilities, your kids dont stop being your kids just because you have moved on !!
