Sure but without a video adapter that doesn't have a mathcin input terminal you're wasting money and time. :)
You want an adapter that has an S-Video port at the very least. If you want to get all fancy get one with a TV Tuner on the expansion card itself.

You need to get a TV card or video capture card for your PC. They often come with the needed cables.

Yes, you can.
Providing on the graphics card you already have, you may require a TV card to be able to watch, record and playback TV. You can also use it to record/backup your DVDs, video camera footage, etc.
If your in the UK, try www.cclonline.com or if not i would recommend Dabs (www.dabs.com) to purchase one.
They should come with the leads you want.

Yes...you can install a TV tuner into your computer. Would work off of the same cable you use for the TV...

you need a video card or usb device that supports "Video In"....
TV Capture cards are quick n easy option....
Watching TVon your pc requires a "TV Tuner Card"....
Capture card will display input like VCR or DVD player....
