It is s my personal belief that all humans are born with free will. So, in that respect, we have certain controls that we can exercise over the decisions we make and where they lead us. Everything we see, touch, hear from the time we are born shapes us so yes, I do believe we have control, when we choose to take it. Put it this way, you are either in control of your own live or someone else is. Who is it and why?

Humans control their lives in many ways. We have "free will". Meaning we are shown the correct way but we will still opt to do it OUR way. Because we can.So we do. The Weavers of Fate control the loom, but the threads control the patterns.

Humans are free to choose how to act/behave, but are limited to the choices available to them. Not everyone shares the same choice options.

Perhaps we are fated to the extent we are confined to the choices available to us, but we are free to choose amongst those choices. We are neither completely free nor completely fated. But somewhere in between.

That said, I do believe we have many, many, many choices, and, as such, should take responsibility for our actions and our feelings, and not feel fated to doom.

To some degree we are. But yes, fate does intervene. If we are unhappy we bring more unhappiness into our lives. Like attracts like. If you are unsure, watch the new movie The Secret.

No one is TOTALLY in control of their life. There are too many variables in the envirionment and the people and places around them, but people can make choices in their lives that will lead them to the best or worst possible life that they can get.

To a certain extent we are. For example, we can decide to go to college, to travel & marry & have children. We are able to set goals & work toward them. However, unplanned events can change our well-laid plans, e.g., disability, severe illness, death of others, loss of job & financial distress & so on. Saving money can reduce some stresses somewhat.

We can plan our future & hope for the best.
