I'm 15, 178 lbs and im 5'9.
I take in about 1000 calories a day of veggies and some chicken.
If I burn 4000 calories everyday, how much would i lose by the end of may?

*Please dont tell me this is an unhealthy diet. It is my choice, not yours.

See that's kind of a trick question because how will you have the energy to burn 4000 calories if you're not eating any calories?

Nonetheless, to burn a pound, you need to burn 3500 calories. If you eat 1000 calories and burn 4000, that leaves 3000 calories, or roughly a pound every other day. So 10-15 pounds in a month, so I would guess 15-20 pounds by the end of May. Just be sure to drink a nutri-shake or at least take a vitamin EVERY DAY. And drink lots and lots of water and have some chicken and fish for protein.

This is called anorexia. If what you're saying is true, then there is a possibility that one or more of your major organs could shut down, without warning, and you could die. You aren't taking in the enough of the right nutrients. What the hell is wrong with asking professionals for advice about weight loss and a healthy diet? If I knew who you were, AND it appeared that you were telling the truth, and you LOOKED like you were trying to burn 4000 calories a day, I would have you involuntarity committed to a treatment facility, to save your life.

The Number of calories are never stable are they? I mean clearly it depends on what you do with your day, if you're sittin all day watchin the TV or actually goin out there and spendin the entire week in a Gym. 4000 Calories sounds like if you actually didnt do anythin else than stayin home.
My suggestion and opinion really, Eat more but go to the 2-5 times a week (lower than that its just useless and higher, its just overkill your muscle need rest) I believe more muscle = more calorie burn with your everyday shores...so instead of having 4000 calories...you can easily put them up to 6000 if you do go to the gym regularly...(dont trust my number im definetly not sure bout the 6k ) ...just get my drift...
Good luck...

a pound equals 3500 calories, so youd burn roughly 4-7 pounds per week, but as you already know, this is not healthy, and id say youve got a problem if you're only taking in 1000 calories a day, for your age you should be getting AT LEAST twice that amount. be careful, or you'll end up losing more than just weight, you'll lose your life.

What is your muscle tone like?
If you are burning 4000 calories a day you must be running hard all the time. or on speed and tweeking.

I'll tell you right now that that's not enough calories to support a frog, much less a 15 year old.

That's my opinion, and you DID ask for it.

grab a calculator and do the math. I think you're doing a good job keeping track of you fitness. I do that too and my friends say I'm anorexic.
