I see that all your answers are basically the same! I had the same problem as you.. Forget those alarm clocks!!!! Sharper Image has an alarm clock that is different! It's called Sonic Boom!? I Believe. It has a VIBRATOR that goes under your pillow or mattress. It is soooo annoying you can't help but wake up, there is also an alarm that sounds like a blowhorn. You can use both or individual alarms!! Works great !!!!!

I have a clock radio that turns on automatically at the same time every morning. It's funny how the music fits into my dreams sometimes. I stays on for about an hour before it shuts off. I keep it on a dresser far enough away from my bed so I can't turn it off in my sleep. Eventually, I come out of a deep sleep and get out of bed. If I had an alarm which only buzzed and could go off with a snooze button, I would probably end up turning it off in my sleep. So, try the radio alarm. It may help....

I set my alarm clock and move it across the room so I actually have to get up to turn it off. I also set my cell phone alarm so that if will go off on my nightstand. It's the only way. Otherwise I do hit the snooze over and over.

They sell alarm clocks with extra loud alarms for people who are heavy sleepers or have poor hearing. I've seen them in catalogs but not not sure which ones. You can also buy a docking contraption for an MP3 plaer so you can wake to loud rock music or whatever gets your attention. also you could try getting to bed earlier and see if that effects your ability to wake up and stay up. put the alarm clock across the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. that makes it harder to go back to bed!

I used to have that problem.

Put the clock across the room on a hard surface that will not muffle the sound. Get a SECOND clock and put it in your bathroom set so they will go off at the SAME TIME.

While you may be able to ignore the one ringing in your bedroom or turn it off, the echoing of the one in the bathroom will be so annoying it will KEEP you up because you will have to walk out away from the bed and bedroom to turn it off.

There's a new alarm clock that rolls off the stand when it goes off, and you have to get out of bed to turn it off...sounds like just the ticket for you.

yeah, it happens to the best of us. I used to put my alarm clock on the other side of the room so that I had to get out of bed to turn it off

I know exactly what you are going through I am not a morning person at all!!!! I have my mom call me every morning. It's nice because I get some time to talk to her and she keeps me awake by talking to me. If you do not prefer your mom have a friend or another family member call. I hope this helps you out.
