how long or what is the longest that french manicure nails are supposed to stay on? At one place they lasted 6 weeks. At another only 1 not even 1 week. Can somebody please help?

It depends on the place you have them done. Some may last only a week, if they don't prep the nails well.

they need to prep the nails (lightly file the surface and use a nail prep fluid that removes oil on teh surface) and if they do that, they will stay on longer.

you will need a 'fill' after about 2 weeks.
the nails will grow out enough that you will want to touch them up.

I have done my own acrylics for 16 years, and know that without prepping the right way, they will pop off very quickly!

You're supposed to go to the nail salon every two weeks for a Fill. After two weeks of having your tips, you'll notice near your cuticle there's a space...it means your nails are growing. A Fill fills that in and makes them look great again. Fills are typically half the price of a full set of acrylics. If you continue to go every two weeks, you won't have a problem.

they should last like add least a week.
