The probablility of Jianlian being the first draft pick is as close to zero as anything in the world. A GM would have to be clinically insane to take a young, relatively unknown (and unproven), skinny foreign player in the top five this year, much less number 1...Which of course means that Isaiah Thomas might do it given the chance. I watched Jianlian during the FIBA championships this summer and i wasn't particularly impressed. I will eat a sock if Oden or Durant is not taken first (assuming both go pro).

not in this draft. This draft is way too deep. Oden might stay in college. If Oden does declare to go to the NBA. I would say Oden would be the first pick. Durant maybe second. But I dont think Yi will even be in the top 5, then again it depends how the balls drop in the lottery. If someone that needs a big man gets the first pick and all the great bigs stay in college Yi might make the first pick

From each and every of the video clips i've got watched of this guy, he seems especially stable. almost like a Kevin Garnett. Yi is versatile, very speedy and quickly for somebody it rather is 7'0. And as we've discovered interior the previous, something can ensue interior the draft (Reggie Bush picked 2nd, Andrew Bogut picked 1st, Dwight Howard picked 1st, Bargnani picked 1st). yet in my opinion, I doubt Yi gets picked first, using fact all of us of a of america's concentration and hype is on Kevin Durant and Greg Oden. even nevertheless i visit assert this: If Yi gets picked under the 5th %., it is going to likely be seen a thieve. via the way, I heavily doubt he can bench 385.

I highly doubt that Yi Jianlian will be the number one overall pick in his draft year. He's up against alot. For someone his size he can dribble well and is a mean dunker, but overall is no match against oden. Oden all the way.

No way. Oden, Durant, Noah are all rated ahead. Probably even look at Bradshaw before this kid. He's a good player, has a few areas (strength, conditioning, post, defense) he needs to work on. I think he's better than Zhi zhi was, but somewhat below Ming.

I've seen him play. He's pretty good, but i didn't see his full potential since the team was mainly using yao ming
