write poetry? I started writing poems this Sunday and I think they are very good. The reason why I started was because my boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me the day before and I needed a way to get my feelings out. It's really helping me through this, so does anyone else write poems? If not do you know anyone who writes poems?

I write poems i started at a pretty young age, my inspiration was God. I would write about his mercy and about his love. As i grew older i began to write about my feelings be it romance, pain, or joy i wrote it out and it became my new hobbie and way of self expression. I'm now 16 and still have that love for poetry. Reading and writing it.

I don't, but my daughter does. She has lots of them up at poetry.com. You can put yours there, too.
