I want to try coca tea. I currently drink yerba mate and love it. I have done my own research and I know the basic facts about it, but I would like to hear from people who have either used it, know people who have used it or have done lab research on it. Please, no preachers, only personal experience or facts, not beliefs.

Personally I love the tea, it has great medicinal qualities. The alkaloid content is .70 mg per 100 grams in which is 1 box of 100 tea bags. This is a very small amount, but yet it is enough to register on a drug test, so be aware!! The effects of one cup of coca tea is very slight, somewhere between a cup of coffee and a cup of tea, but the feeling is much smoother, like your body is getting more oxygen, and clears away any groggyness you might have like a miracle. I guess thats why they use it in the mountains at high elevations, it allviates the alititude sickness. Several brands you should try are Windsor, Zurit, Inka Superior, and Delisse. Windsor coca tea can be found at boliviamall.com and Inka Superior at coprasperu.com. Try them both because some people prefer peru coca tea over Boliva coca tea, my personal favorite is Inka Superior, although expensive, it is by far the best quality.
