A lot of the 'rules' of wearing white have been thrown out the window. These rules were archaic and don't fit today's society. People should be able to wear whatever color they want to their wedding regardless of age or previous marital status. If the bride is comfortable and wants to wear white that is HER decision. True friends and family will support her and anyone else is just a destructive gossiper.

If you bother to ask the question, then you must have some desire to not break etiquette or be made fun of by others.
Personally I think it looks ridiculous, but of course it is your wedding. There are other colors, or off shades of white.
I owned a wedding business for ten years; during that time we had 15,000 weddings doing the actual wedding, tux and dress rental, catering, photography and flowers. So I have a bit of expertise in weddings. Trust me, don't wear virginal white you'll look silly to many.

I don't care if you are 125....go for it!
A white dress stands for purity of love not virginity.
Your wedding is exactly that...YOURS...do not let anyone take that away from you....make it what you want.....heavens wear a red dress and black lace garter if you want....it is your day to shine do it how you wish..
Congratulations and Best of luck!

You can wear any color that you want. I have a friend who was married two times in white and married both times in church.

My mom was 8 months pregnant and walked down the aisle in a white dress, so yeah, it is possible.

It's totally okay. Conventional tradition has gone out the window. Do what makes you happy.

1) I wouldn't automatically assume that someone 50 isn't a virgin (it happens!)
2) A bride at any age, whatever previous marital status or previous sexual experience, should wear what she likes for her celebration.

I do. You can wear whatever you want but a soft color may be more flattering
