We have them here in Georgia. Poor girl, if you haven't had a Chik-Fil-A, you haven't had a real chicken sandwich.

Interesting Chik Fil A factoid: It's the only fast food restaurant I know of that is closed on Sunday. Even the ones in the malls don't open on Sunday. I've always wondered if it's a regional thing (I live in the bible belt), or if all Chik Fil A's are like that....

Well to "seriously" answer your question a chick-fil-a is simply a restaurant that sells none other than pretty good chicken sandwiches. They sell fries and other fast food related type items but they are mostly known for their real good chicken sandwiches. Wow I was the first person to answer you. chik fil a is a restaurant in various places of the united states..they server nothing but chicken..of course with fries and what not..its like mc donalds except thier menu is all the way chicken

It's a fast food chicken restaurant/franchise that won't open on Sunday's b/c the owner guy is religious. And to the guy above me...it's not only in the Midwest. I live in the southeast and they are all over here. We have one even on my college campus but the food from there is really greasy...You're not missing out on anything. Even the smell of the place makes me nauseous.
