Try this! No one near? Call someone, anyone and simply be honest. "just calling cause I'm craving a hug and there's no one near." I promise whomever you call will be moved that you called them and will be left having felt hugged and I promise you vocalizing your need to another will leave you touched having been heard that creates the feeling of a warm embrace :-)

I hug myself. Then i call my best friend and tell her to come over to my house and give me hug.

I give IM hugs to my best friend...and if he's not around, I give them to another good friend of mine.....
