Is it good for offroad only, no intrest in track riding. Is it really that heavy? Also, how much do the kickstart kits cost?

I had one for my first bike. I owned it for about 2 years and after about 6 months I got really tired of it for trail riding. it is in my opinion to heavy and lacks a lot in the power department and the suspension is really to to soft.. it all depends on what kind of trail riding you will be doing. if it is smooth and easy trails with no descent size hills in it then it should be fine.but if you will be riding on some hilly and more technical terrain then i would recommend something like a WR250F has plenty of power and has the suspension to handle the more technical trails and is lighter. I just feel that after a few months you will get tired of the bike like I did.

hope this helps

been riding since I was 12

the TTR are designed for trail riding...and the price sounds about right..but I am with the first poster ..I would try and get him down some on it....as far as the kickstart kits cost..I would check on ebay ...you can usually pick up things cheaper on there..... I was at the honda shop and the woman there was taking photos to put up on ebay..she said she had listed over 200 items so far......so ,I would say many dealers do the same.....

mother of two motocrossers....and wife of an older man who loves to ride...
