I love aveeno hint of color moisterizer. It is gradual, but natural looking w/o streaks.

You have some options!! Self-tanner from the store, tanning wipes (typically available online, try Sephora) or you can do the Mystic tan. You can find a decent self-tanner at a drugstore or market. Make sure you apply evenly though, it may get a bit tricky. i've heard good reviews of self-tanning wipes as well. Also, you might ask your mom if you can do the spray-tan that they have at the tanning salons. It's a machine that takes about a minute and it sprays out a mist of self tanner all over your body, no UV rays!! That may be a good solution. If you decide to do that, beforehand, be sure to apply the lotion they provide you with evenly, especially on your feet and your hands. It's usually about $20 and lasts a bit more than a week!

ask your mom if you can get a tan using a product.
i use Aveeno Active Naturals Continuous Radiance Moisturizing Lotion, Medium Skin Tone. No streaking whatsoever, and a really nice glow. The color is a believable-looking tan, not orange.

Well, by your question I'm guessing you don't exactly live in Hawii. Um, tanning salons are good, but check out the place to see if they have clean facilities and stuff. (you can get rashes from other people if the beds aren't clean). But remember that too many harmful sun rays CAN give you skin cancer, so be careful.

Pale skin is beautifull, it hints elegance and purity. I would advise not to tan at all, but if you simply must, go for a self-tanner, or go to your local beauty salon, and they can give you a mystic tan, which does not involve harsh sun rays or hott bulbs that crisp your skin. If your mother does not recommend it , listen to her, god trust me lol, I wish I had listened to my mother lol, would have saved me alot of trouble heehee good luck.

I recommend not getting a tan. Too much sun may lead to cancer later in life and leave your skin looking and feeling like leather. It is hard to totally avoid exposure to the sun, but if you minimize the amount of sun you get throughout your life, you will appreciate it later in life.
Stay healthy.
