I just want to clarify that there ARE domesticated hedgehogs, and I am not looking to get suggestions for alternate pets.

Have to agree with Jodie, don't make wild animals into pets.
Respectfully suggest you adopt a dog or cat from the pound instead.

Hedgehogs are wild animals and shouldn't be kept as pets...

aren't hegdehogs spikey, and will put spikes in you if you touch them? I don't know where to get one and I couldn't imagine anyone wanting one, They are Wild Animals..
