I'm here in sunny California and man was it a gorgeous day today! Not even mudd butt or insane women driving SUV's could bring me down.

But seriously, doesn't it suck not living in California?

I live in NC, about 30 minutes from the beach. It sucks right now because I wish it was warmer. During the spring and summer it is great though. I am also partial to the southern drawls, and the farmer tans. Everybody knows everybody and it is great. The neighbors are always there to help. The whole family gets together about once a week to eat supper together. My kids grow up in a great neighborhood. Just last night they came in about dark with dirt up to their ears from the soon to be corn fields. I wouldn't have it any other way. Kids are meant to play outside and adventure. I love where I live.

In Georgia the peaches are blooming a beautiful pink, the seasons change, but no snow. I love it, a 1/2 day drive to the beach or the mountains, but live where the pace is still slow, people mostly know and care about their neighbor and get into each other's business, (like call you when they see your kid's doing stuff they shouldn't). I'm pretty partial to guys with southern drawls and farmer's tans, too.

California weather is beautiful but living is too expensive and bosses suck. I've been living here since little and I wouldn't find it easy to go live anywhere else but is a drag to even try to live properly, if you know what I mean.

I live in PA and we just got about a foot of snow, on my birthday no less. It ruined my day. I was confined to my home all day taking care of the kids. I thought we were done with snow. Yes, I do envy you for living in CA but don't you get earthquakes there?
