I don't know what kind of accident he had but sounds like a serious one. First of all, guys don't like to be wounded - goes against that whole manly man thing. Second, did he lose time off work, a car, get in trouble by the parental figures? A little depression would be in order so probably needs some breathing room. It is easy to smother someone you love after an accident because of the whole 'I might have lost you thing' on the other side tends to have the victim thinking ' I could have died thing'. Give him so time to sort these feelings out. Let him know you are there if he needs to talk but don't be a pest. Pain makes people cranky and most men want to hide and lick their wounds. Food is always in order, make his favourite dish or buy it if you can't cook and just love him. He'll come around, good luck.

have patient and show support. this is the time he needed you most. stay with him and show to him that whatever happened your gonna stick with him, and from that he will draw strenght from you.I am sure after he recover he will realized that you truely love. This is very crucial stage in his life because, he is thinking so much about his personal life., especially if he is working and he suddenly leave his job.., and he is thinking you also that you might leave him anytime because he think he is useless for now and he can't make you happy, so there is a tendency for him to withdraw and then he feel deepress...,nevermind his behaviour and show your love.goodluck

men dont like to feel weak at any time EVER. he might not want u to see him helpless while he is recovering. if he is being distant instead of trying to attach to his side. take the time while he is recovering and make him a poem, or make a picture frame or a scrapbook of pictures u two took together and give it to him. it will keep u occupied and he will treasure it. alot of ppl think guys dont lik that stuff but my bf has kept every letter, card, picture, present i ever gave him he loves them. i think ur bf would lik it.

He is probably feeling very confused, among many other feelings. You should help him do what he wants to do and make him confortable. Things can get a little tetchy at times if he gets fustrated, but give him time. Good luck

Give him some space. He probably needs time to sortshit out. Offer your understanding, but be understanding if he is not willing to take it just yet.
