A bloke speaking so probably more expert than ladies as in "Darling would you untangle this necklace for me?"

"Sure". Then the realisation comes but hey, I'm a bloke, I should be abler to do this so . . .

Be damned careful (your life's on the line here).

Find your finest pliers and a needle. Sprinkle the chain with sewing machine oil.

Turn on the CD (your favourite concerto).

Sit in a comfortable chair.

Arrange the chain as flat as you can on your knee. Find an end (if still done up undo the link) and gently pull it.

Loosten all tangles by gently rolling them between your fingers. Even blowing on them can help. Gently use your pliers to hold open the top of the first knot, wrinkle or "trap"( as in one part overlapping another). Use the needle to gently pull the chain through the gap that you have made.

Repeat this over and over making sure that you don't make any more tangles as you go along.

It's not easy and it may be worth considering getting a jeweller or, if it's cheap, a new chain.

When mine get tangled I've found it works to roll the knot gently between my fingers to loosen the knot. Then use a pin or needle to stick through the open hole.

Put a drop or two of light mineral oil on it, and use a couple of long straight pins to work the tangle apart and eventually - hopefully - be able to straighten it out.
Good luck....

i'd say the finest way may be to discover the accurate, and then very intently basically weave it by the knots. in some unspecified time sooner or later that's going to come undone. there is no longer truly an straightforward thanks to attempt this, and in case you cant get it, attempt to ask a chum or buddy. someone will ultimately get it :)

hhhmmmmmmm.........been there. Just sit down, relax and gently try to Find the source of the knots, and pull it through. Take breaks in between. You don't want to get frustrated.
