American Idol?

Question

Does anyone else think American Idol is really boring this year? The only contestants that I really like are Melinda and Lenisha, because they're just amazing and Blake, because he's unique and has his own style. As for the rest of the contestants, and the show in general, I just think it's losing the excitement and spark that it once had. You know what I mean?

I honestly have been losing interest too. I'm tired of it and last year it was really good. There's three good people... THAT"S IT. I'd rather rot on the computer or play video games or something. Sanjaya bugs me. That's the bottom line. American Idol is becoming a joke and I don't think I want to watch it next season. Even the auditions were disappointing.

I totally agree!! I always loved the show, watch it every year but this year it's just down right boring! my husband and i were talking about that the other night . I don't really think they'll have it on another season. I'd be surprised if they do! The talent's nothing like the past year's! This year the only 2 I like are Lakisha and Melinda. It'll be a toss-up between them I believe!I don't even watch it on Tues. anymore. I watch Weds. just to see who gets kicked off. If they do have it next year I hope they have better talent!

I think it's slightly interesting, although the singers aren't nearly as good as in season 2. Melinda and Lakisha are obviously the best, but I think Melinda is a little better. (In my opinion.) I think Blake Lewis awful. He edited that song on tuesday and it was horrible. I don't care if he can beat box or not, his singing isn't good. This is American Idol, where you sing, not beat box. He's just using it as a gimmick to get him through the contest. I don't think it's fair to the others.

I know what u mean. I loved last season but that was because I was a huge chris daughtry fan. But this year there isn't really any1 that's really amazing. I guess Melinda and Lakisha are the best in the competition but everyone else just don't measure up.

Agreed. Simon, Paula, and Randy need some new lines. How many times can we hear, Dreadful, Brilliant, or "I don't konw dog, it was just aight for me, a little pitchy."

i say the same thing to my girlfriend!! Its just not as exciting and the singers aren't as capturing as usual!!
