i got a value of -96.27 J/degree C

we used 5 c water + 25 C water, then the final temp is 16.3 C

Don't know how negative your constant is, but a number relatively near zero may not be a total disaster. In water-filled calorimeters, the contribution of heat from the calorimeter is usually pretty small.
