I sure know the answer to this one, as many years ago and I mean MANY - my first boss asked me to go to a different department to get her something from a departmental head, who asked me to wait whilst he fetched it (unbeknown to me - a non existing thing). So I waited and waited and waited, becoming rather annoyed at his rudeness - as he continued to sit at his desk doing his job with me standing there.

Some thirty minutes later he began to laugh and explained the fact that I had been on a Juniors induction course. I did not see the funny side of the joke at first, but on the way back to my office realized and thought "never again" would she catch me out.

So that was my long stand and my boss (as per the norm;) never had a sense of humour quite like that again.

By the way - glad you do not have trouble finding what you want on search engine.
