No, but there was a J. Dawson (it was James or Joseph but the grave marker simply says J). He is buried in Halifax, Nova Scotia. There is no connection to the movie Titanic...but it is kind of cool.

Do you mean Rose Decatur-Whitaker?? The one that Kare Winslett played?? Probably not just the name the character had.
