What are some things I would need I'm kinda new at owning ferrets but if they keep digging up my carpet my landlord is going to kick me out lol. Does anyone have any ideas or pictures that i can see?

You don't need a picture. :) hehe
Here is what to do...get yourself a nice size cardboard box. Cut ferret-size holes in each side of the box. Make sure you make the holes at about the middle of the side of the box so that when you fill it up with goodies they don't spill out. After you cut the holes fill the box with anything! Use your imagination! You could do ping pong balls, a huge pile of ferret toys, sand, rice (un-cooked of course), small child's toys. They love this and will be in their exploring for what seems like hours!
In regards to "small child's toys" I have a 5-year old...my ferrets love miniature dolls, baby doll accessories (like bottles and those fake food boxes.)...they are pretty inexpensive to buy and for some reason they love these things. Just make sure you do not include anything so small that they can choke on it OR anything rubbery as they can chew it off and swallow it.

get a LARGE container... kinda like a foot locker if you know what that is. Fill it half way with full grain bulk rice (not that ready made stuff) or with the biodegradable packing peanuts. Make sure they are the biodegradable kind. They melt when you get them wet. Can get them at any shipping store.
Put the ferret in the box and watch the insanity.
My ferret perfers the packing peanuts but my old one loved the rice. Just gotta keep trying different things.

hey i am a proud owner of two ferrets!lol i let mine run around my yard they love to dig in the dirt, also ill put diffrent things in like a shallow pan, um like water or sand, be sure to put a towel or newspaper down they can get messy. i also have some questions im running out of ways to entertain them they get bored so easy in my room. got any tips?
