I would travel when there is less traffic and sleep when I got there or in the morning when traffic picked up.

I usually Travel later so that the kids sleep most the ride. Also the roads are emptier, but it is harder to see.

I like to drive around the back of my school at night, throwing shaving cream cans out the window, then backing up over them. Its fun to watch them explode.
