i fell and sprained my ankle twice within one month, it hurts like hell, no bones are broken, i ice and elevate it, is there something else i can do, eat, drink so it heals faster? doc says it might take up to 4 months to heal completly.. HELP! (i'm using crutches)

wrap it firmly wtih bandage between 1 to 12 hours a day, just enough so that the bandage doesn't cut off circulation... stay away from sugar and anything containing sugar period and if u have have to sweeten foods, use with honey or agave nectar.... it should take half the time or less and yes, do use those crutches... as any reinjury will lenghthen the healing process...

Ligaments are slow to heal. Just take it easy and deal with it the best you can.

11 years ago I partially tore my achilles tendon in my right foot, and I was in agony with it for months.
