For three years since third grade,I had been in a charter school called BCSA,and in there, they kept us from the real world by prohibiting so much as an awquared glance over the shoulder at someone. They made us feel as if the world was a perfect, insult free, peaceful land where you couldn't be touched. Then,as I was about to move into the sixth grade,I decided I wanted to go to a new school;Elza Tucker.I have never been in a fight with my parents in my life.Anyway, then I came to Tucker, and I was a little nervous,so I hid myself away from the group for four and a half months.During this time,I learned the real ways of the world to it's full streangth, the only way it could have been worse is if there were drugs involved, which there were not. Then,as I was starting to adjust,I started noticing a girl who had sat next to me in alot of classes.I sort of had a crush on her.The problem is she hates me Then I started walking around school never smiling or laughing.Ever.Now EVERYONE hates me.HELL.

Cut yourself. That's what I did. Listen to hardcore/death metal music. Arsonists Get All The Girls is a good start.

Don't let yourself sink too deep into the depression, it's a horrible place to be. It sounds like you've had some really hard experiences in the past that you might still need to deal with as well. I'd recommend trying to find someone to talk to regularly about it. You can ask your school counselor about that although sometimes those people's IQ's are a bit too close to their shoe size (my high school's guy was) , so you might run into difficulties there. Worth a shot though. There's also hot lines you can call, and there's usually one especially for kids. You don't have to tell them who you are and they'll be there if you just want to talk a bit.
I've been depressed, I know how much it hurts. I'm sorry you have had to go through all this. Please, please try to hope and try to have someone help you. Sometimes you get down so much that you can't get up again by yourself.
The one thing that really helped me when I was depressed was going to Taekwon-do with my Dad. Exercise is so good for your physiology that it's been known to help with depression better than any medication available. Plus it's nice to be able to feel like you can kick a bit of @ss, you know?
Good luck, I hope this helps. I really really do. Take care of yourself and God bless.

I am really sorry you're having such a rough time. You know what? It gets BETTER - it REALLY does. When you say you learned about the real way the world is - school is not the real world.
Hang in there - it'll get better.
For now, find something you LOVE to do - writing, sports, a hobby of some sort. Something you enjoy so much that you lose track of time. And find at least one good friend. That will help!
You'll be okay!

Life is difficult, or not. Depends on how YOU approach things. Hiding doesn't work, as you've seen. The best advice I could give you is to find and persue your passion; music, art, math, science, whatever it is (it must be noble, not destructive). Second, go out and help someone else. These two things will leave little time for you to think about yourself. They will get you outwardly focused, not inward as you are now. What can it hurt, try it. The mind is a very powerful tool, if you choose to use it.

Honey, that's life. You just have to be strong, be yourself. You are young, you are learning who you are. It sounds like you have a good family, one that cares about you & loves you & wants to protect you. Parents can't always protect our children from hurt or the world. You must learn what is important to you, your values, your own way in life. Some of that learning involves hurtful lessons. Just know that your youth will not last forever, this pain will not last forever. This pain and awful feeling will go away. If you learn these lessons now, you will be a better adult. I wish you all the best of luck & love that life has to offer!

This might sound stupid to you but you have an incredible resource available to you. It is between your ears. I am not trying to be funny. I am reading a book titled."Stumbling on Happiness" by Daniel Gilbert. It is written by a professor of psychology at Harvard University. Basically it tells you that everything you know is wrong. People's perception of reality is based on how your brain puts it together. You can chose how you want your brain to function. Once you grasp the concept, you can decide how you want to view life's experiences. It does sound like a cliche but there is power in thinking positively. The book is heavy reading but the editor makes it more user friendly. Try it. You have nothing to lose.

Almost everyone has experienced liking someone who does not like them back. No big deal. I am sure that everyone does not hate you. If you want more people to like you, make an effort to smile and be friendly. People prefer to be around friendly people, don't you? Try extending yourself to others. It may not work everytime but it works better than going around frowning. Try it our for 3 months and you should see some improvements Good luck! :)

At least, you can talk about your feelings, you know something about yourself
Other people... they are so stupid, they cannot even look inside themselves, they are like monkeys imitating other monkeys
It is always painful when you grow up and start to be yourself
You seem to have this strength inside you, just call it out!
All what is on TV is stupidity, we don't need to be successful or cool, we need to be ourselves.
You don't need that girl or anybody else to validate you
You are you, and that it is enough
The good is inside you, just pull it out
with help, or without it, you will be better
