Does Vince pick them or do they have a group of current & former wrestlers that pick them?

i think vince picks them. do u think a guy like pete rose would actually make the wwe wretling hall of fame before someone like randy savage or ricky steamboat or rick rude among countless others?

There is a certain way they pick them. I am thinking that it is The McMahons along with a few others that pick them. The way they are picked kind of confuses me though. The group from the past couple of years has been kind of odd to me.
Look at last years class:
Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero, Sensational Sherri, Mean Gene Okelund, The Blackjacks, Tony Atlas, William Perry, Verne Gagne
How did Perry and Atlas get in. Yeah Atlas had a few accomplishments, but he got the nod over someone like i don't know say Ted Dibiase or Ricky Steamboat. Why aren't these guys in the Hall of Fame.
This years class looks good so far though:
Dusty Rhodes, Mr. Perfect, Jerry Lawler, Nick Bockwinkel, Mr. Fuji
All these guys are well deserved and the rumored names to fill the rest of the class of 2007 deserve it to (JR, The Sheik and The Wild Samoans)

I think the Hall of Famers are picked by the board of governers or the crowd.

Rowdy Rodd Piper
Cowboy Orton

Shawn Michaels
Triple H

There is open discussion at meetings. They form lists of people who would be qualified. Rick Steamboats name has come up many times but he hasn't been able to appear. The biggest key is are they able to appear at the functions. Perry and Pete Rose are part of a "non-wrestler wing". And Tony Atlas was huge in his day. Absolutely a drawing monster. His over the head bodypress was something no one had been able to do before. He headlined great cards.

The McMahons do so BUT also with the agreement of those wrestlers or if they are dead, their family.
