i have a compaq presario i bought in september 2004. i was able to put my pictures as background for my desktop. for the past 10 months i cant do it. the only thing about my desktop i can change is the color background. is there any way i can change this or is my computer too old to fix? i bought it new for 498.00 at walmart, so i wont be devastated if i can't but if there is a chance i want to be able to change it.

the problem is that is saids "none". i already know how to do it, i did it for almost 2 years, it won't let me anymore.

How did you do it before? The way I do it is to go to my pictures. Then select a picture and RIGHT click on it, then left click where is says "set as desktop background".

Just go to anywhere in the desktop area, right click on and choose property and choose the Desktop tab and choose your desktop picture
