Tea tree oil kills fungus and bacteria, including those resistant to some antibiotics. Tea tree oil is used topically as an antiseptic and anti-infective for bacterial infections, acne, and fungal infections such as athlete's foot. It is also used in connection with insect bites, sunburn, and other minor skin irritations.

If you need to clear your blemishes, use the oil directly on your skin, there's no need to dilute it or anything.
You can also use tree tree oil on itch, burns and cuts. It is a good antibacterial agent.
And if you need something like a wash with the oil in it, you can check out The Body Shop's tea tree range. I'm using their facial wash.

Paul Mitchell makes an awesome tea tree shampoo, even though you're only supposed to use it once or twice a week. It feels awesome, all tingly and minty.

I use a mosturizing lotion that has tea tree oil in it. It is the best after sun lotion I've ever used.

I'm not sure if it helps cleanse your face but it does work miracles in removing scars. I had plenty from when I first started shaving and would carelessly cut myself or from the countless softball accidents, and my legs were dotted with them. You apply it with a cuetip nightly and within about a month most scars are either gone or just slightly visible. Sorry if this wasn't what you were looking for! <3
