I never got notice of them wanting an interview...is that not good news?

Doesn't sound good. Why not call and check to make certain that they received everything and ask if you need to do anything else? I wouldn't hurt and it would be a shame if you could just correct something and didn't. Give it a try.

That's one of the most competitive programs in the country - maybe the world. My best friend was in that program and made it through.
For reference, he never missed a Math SAT question in his lifetime, if that means anything to you.
If you don't make it - it's okay - most of the other applicants didn't make it either.
