I think that would be rare. If the baby looks caucasian then it would probably be classified as caucasian.

this is determined by 1) what the baby looks like. 2) what the mother says 3) the one drop rule. People have told me for years, that if a person has one drop of black blood you are black. until recently, when mixed children didn't want to deny a portion of themselves. I think it is high time we broaden the racial classification and make a space for "other" because the mixtures are endless.

My grandson is half hispanic half white it says he is caucasain on his birth certificate.
